Opposition defies Michel's paper by rebuffing to participate in selection of judiciaries, MP Papuashvili says
The opposition defies Charles Michel’s paper by rebuffing to participate in the judiciaries selection process, ruling Georgian Dream party MP Shalva Papuashvili said on Friday.
The opposition was bound to enter the parliament and involve its work as stated in the paper, MP Papuashvili noted. MP vows Georgian Dream is the only party that closely follows the EU-brokered agreement.
“The opposition kicked against the paper by rejecting an amnesty bill. Moreover, Lelo for the Georgia party also abjured the paper by shunning electoral reform. They refuse to participate in judicial selection too. The opposition is the only infringer here,” GD MP underscored.
