“Any negotiation format with the Georgian Dream is impossible. There will be no ‘Charles Michel Two,'” told Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of the Opposition Alliance, to the reporters following the meeting with the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly delegation.
According to Nika Gvaramia, the OSCE PA delegation did not call on anything.
“We have exchanged information on what is going on in the country and what to expect. As I speak to you now, a criminal case may be initiated against us for sharing this information. This is not fortune-telling or an opinion. Such criminal cases are brought against individuals who attended the meeting and who will enter this room. Therefore, any negotiation format with the Georgian Dream is impossible. They accumulated these problems to make certain concessions and receive something in return. Until the law that allows the Georgian Dream to remain in power indefinitely is repealed without any reservations, there is no question of even creating any type of format.
Nobody has demanded anything. Amid the situation when our friends are in jail, we decide about our rights, who to talk to about anything or who has the right to call on us about something. There were no calls. During any meeting of such kind, we stress that there will be no Charles Michel Two. There will only be negotiations on the fate of the country. Whoever wants to talk about this, yes, we are ready. We are obliged to talk, but as long as we have political prisoners, beaten, poisoned people and no one punished, it is impossible to hold talks,” Gvaramia said.
