Opposition activist Zviad Kuprava detained

Police detained opposition activist Zviad Kuprava at the Rustavi Prison earlier this afternoon.

GPB journalist reported from the scene that he protested against the imprisonment of ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili.

Kuprava did not obey the police when the law enforcers prohibited him from inscribing ‘Freedom to Misha’ on the prison wall.

Mikheil Saakashvili was arrested on October 1 in Tbilisi and sent to Rustavi Prison.
