One more Su-25 adds to Georgian aviation fleet

Another modernized and repaired Su-25, a single-seat, twin-engine jet aircraft, has been added to the aviation fleet of the Georgian Defense Forces.

Juansher Burchuladze, Georgian Defense Minister arrived at the mixed aviation base in Marneuli town to inspect the development of airplanes and participated in the test flight.

Military Scientific-Technical Center DELTA and Tbilaviamsheni jointly reconstructed 7 Su-type jets. Technical personnel and pilots are undergoing training in parallel.

Su-25 is a close air support aircraft. It is designed to provide direct combat support to ground troops.
