Occupation forces illegally arrest two Georgians

The Russian occupation forces on Sunday illegally arrested two Georgian citizens near Dvani village in the Kareli Municipality, the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) has reported.

The SSG said it had activated a hotline and notified the European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM). The government has been using all other instruments at its disposal.

The agency underscored that “the occupation forces bear full responsibility for the destructive actions carried out in the occupied regions of Georgia and along the occupation line.”
