Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt on Wednesday said Georgia needs “our solidarity, and there is a need for that we really stand up in order to protect their borders.”
“I was recently in Georgia actually and they need our solidarity and there is a need for that we really stand up in order to protect their borders. So, this will be the common message I think from this ministerial meeting on Georgia today,” Huitfeldt told Georgian media outlets before the meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs in Bucharest.
Bucharest, Romania is hosting a meeting of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) at the level of Ministers of Foreign Affairs on 29-30 November 2022. The meeting is chaired by the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg.
