Non-Georgian sector teachers to keep their practical status until 2025-2026 school year-end

ENon-Georgian sector teachers will keep their practical status until the completion of the 2025-2026 academic year and will be able to affirm their skills many times, the Ministry of Education and Science reported.

The Ministry also stated that it would provide training for educators to help them enhance their skills while learning the Georgian language.

“The Ministry of Education and Science is still assessing teachers’ portfolios, which will be completed in the summer. By September 1, 2023, the educators will be granted the appropriate status (leading or mentoring) based on the evaluation findings,” the Ministry said.
