Non-electronic ID cards issued before 2011 to be replaced for free

During the confidence vote in the Georgian Parliament, Justice Minister candidate Rati Bregadze outlined the Ministry’s plans for 2024.

Rati Bregadze announced the free replacement of non-electronic ID cards with new ones.

“Non-electronic ID cards issued to Georgian citizens before 2011 will be replaced with new electronic cards free of charge. The citizens will have quick and unrestricted access to state services,” he added.
