Georgians not hurt in Amygdaleza clashes, Embassy says

No Georgians were hurt during unrest on Tuesday night at the Pre-Removal Detention Center in Amygdaleza, the Georgian Embassy to Greece reported on Wednesday.

“All citizens of Georgia are safe. Only those being exposed to tear gas were taken to the hospital,” the Embassy went on.

According to Greek media outlets, the violent incident erupted following the death of an inmate.
