Ninotsminda Municipally City Hall employee detained for bribe-taking

Officers of Anti-corruption Agency under State Security Service of Georgia, as a result of operative-searching and investigative activities, on the basis of the court ruling, detained H.N., head of one of the divisions of economy and property management service under Ninotsminda Municipally City Hall on the fact of bribe-taking in large quantities.

As the State Security Service said on Saturday, an investigation established, that H.N., demanded GEL 30 000 as a bribe from two citizens of Georgia, from which he accepted GEL 3000 in advance in exchange for using state-owned pasture located in Ninotsminda.

The investigation is in progress on the fact of bribe-taking in large quantities. (Article 338, paragraph II, sub-paragraph “B” of the Criminal Code of Georgia that envisages from 7 to 11 years of imprisonment). The investigation is carried out by the Anti-corruption Agency under the State Security Service of Georgia.
