“Protect Salome Zourabichvili; do not allow her to be removed from the Presidential Palace,” stated Nika Gvaramia, one of the leaders of the Coalition for Change, in a social media post.

“Is this comical? I don’t even know what to say. Just ensure that it is not the case later that the opposition failed to warn everyone that this is not comical but a thing to mourn—a battle and a call to take to the streets. This is why we have an illegitimate president: because the opposition did not provide a detailed explanation or present a comprehensive plan beforehand.

They did not tell us what actions to take. They showed us a column and gave us inner peace; otherwise, what would not we have done?

They elect a person as the country’s president, and I urge everyone to protect Salome Zourabichvili. Do not allow her to be removed from the Presidential Palace. Do not let this illegitimate force in!
