Nika Gvaramia calls on Georgian Dream voters to join EU support march
Nika Gvaramia, a leader of the Akhali party, urged Georgian Dream voters to participate in today’s Georgia Chooses the European Union march, emphasizing that Georgia’s place is in Europe.
“Today is a day of unity,” Gvaramia said. “We are all heading to Liberty Square and symbolically moving towards Europe. Regardless of who we vote for, the desire to be part of Europe is shared by most of us, even if some voters are unaware that their preferred candidates might have other agendas.”
He called on “Georgian Dream” supporters to express their European aspirations openly:
“This is a unifying day, linking the past, present, and future of the Georgian people. All pro-Western opposition forces will be present, along with non-governmental organizations, journalists, and people from across the political spectrum. Seeing Georgians of all views together would be a source of joy for me.”
The march to Freedom Square is being held under the slogan “Georgia Chooses the European Union”, with participants gathering from multiple locations across Tbilisi.
