NEA warns of rain in three regions of east Georgia on July 30-31
From the afternoon of July 30 to the second half of July 31, intermittent rain is expected in the Shida Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, and Kakheti regions, with heavy rain in some places in the northern mountainous areas, the National Environment Agency (NEA) said.
Weather forecasters also expect thunderstorms, hailstorms, and dense fog in these three regions.
Heavy rains may cause swelling of small rivers and activation of landsliding processes in the mountainous areas (threat level: medium), the NEA said.
