NEA warns of heavy rains in west Georgia, storm at Black Sea on July 26-27

The National Environment Agency issued an alert on weather for July 26 and 27 in west Georgia.

According to the NEA, heavy rains with thunderstorms are in the weather forecast in western regions of Adjara, Guria, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti, Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti. A storm of magnitude 3-4 is expected at the Black Sea.

Heavy rains may cause swelling of small rivers and activation of landsliding processes in the mountainous zones (threat level: medium), the NEA said.
