NDI Poll: Majority of respondents politically undecided, 19% feel GD represents their views the best, whereas 4% name UNM
The NDI research indicates that a significant portion of the Georgian population remains politically undecided.
“Plurality do not know or do not say which party is closest to them. Declared support for individual parties is so low that they cannot be taken as a guide to the outcome of future elections,” NDI notes in its survey.
In response to the question about which party is closest to their views, 47% stated that no party aligns with their views, while 19% named Georgian Dream. The National Movement was mentioned by 4% of respondents, and other parties collectively were named by 12%. Additionally, 13% refused to answer, and 6% answered they did not know.
The research also notes relatively low support for the ruling Georgian Dream among young people and suggests that more Georgians believe that female and male politicians represent their
interests equally.
