NDI poll: 25% of respondents feel GD represents their views the best, whereas 6% name UNM

Even more people than before, 61%, feel that none of the Georgian parties reflect their interests, according to the most recent NDI poll.

To the question “Do you believe that at least one political party in Georgia that more or less represents your interests?” the answers are distributed as follows: yes – 31%; no – 61%; I don’t know – 6%; refuse to answer – 3%. While the identical question had the following responses in the August 2022 survey: yes – 39%; no – 56%; I don’t know – 4%; refuse to answer – 2%.

Most citizens are still politically undecided. To the question “Which political party is closest to you?” 39% say no party, 25% answer Georgian Dream; refuse to answer – 10%; I don’t know – 7%; National Movement – 6%; other parties – 13%.

The new report looks at a nationwide survey conducted between December 3 – December 20, through face-to-face interviews with a nationwide representative sample of Georgia’s adult population, excluding occupied territories. The December poll included 2,519 completed interviews. The average margin of error is +/- 1.6 per cent.
