NDI: 76% of Georgians believe all elected parties to participate in parliament
The Georgian citizens believe that it is crucial for political parties to collaborate (82 %) and for all elected parties to participate in parliament (76 %) so that the new parliament represented citizen interests, NDI poll reads.
76 % of Georgians agree that all elected parties should participate in the parliament, 13 % disagree. 82 % of respondents agree all political parties should collaborate, while 9% disagree. 65% out of a total 14% of opposition supporters believe that all elected political parties must participate in the parliament. Only 13 % disagree, NDI stated.
“The onus is on the new convocation of parliament to build confidence among the people of Georgia that it will be effective in engaging the public and delivering solutions to their pressing concerns and the big challenges ahead,” said NDI Georgia Country Director Alan Gillam.
