NBG: Remittance inflows rise by 11.9% in November, reaching $298.4 Million
In November 2025, the volume of remittance inflows to Georgia amounted to USD 298.4 million (GEL 807.9 million), representing an 11.9% increase (USD 31.7 million) compared to November 2024, according to information released by the National Bank of Georgia.
According to the National Bank, a total of USD 3,308.5 million was transferred to Georgia during the first eleven months of 2025.
EU countries accounted for the largest share of remittances in November, totaling 45.5% or USD 135.8 million, with an annual growth rate of 14.2%. Among EU member states, Italy, Germany, and Greece recorded the highest shares of total remittances.
At the same time, remittances from the United States continued to grow. In November, transfers from the U.S. increased by 15.5% year-on-year, reaching USD 57.8 million.
In November 2025, remittances sent from Georgia abroad amounted to USD 36.8 million (GEL 99.6 million), which is 10.3% higher than the corresponding figure for November 2024 (USD 33.3 million), the National Bank said.
