Ekaterine Mikabadze and Ekaterine Galdava have been appointed as Vice-Presidents of the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), the bank’s press office stated on Thursday.
Ekaterine Mikabadze served as Georgia’s First Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development before joining the Board. She formerly worked for several years in the NBG’s Department of Macroeconomics and Statistics.
Ekaterina Galdava has worked for the National Bank of Georgia for many years. She worked in the Department of Macroeconomic Policy and Monetary Operations; she was an economic consultant to the NBG President and the NBG Vice-President.
The National Bank’s Board of Directors currently consists of six members.
