NBG Acting President partakes in Euromoney’s annual forum

Natia Turnava, the Acting President of the Georgian National Bank (NBG), participated in the panel discussion of New Tasks New Tools at the Euromoney’s Annual Central and Eastern European (CEE) Forum.

Turnava emphasized the pivotal role of central banks in maintaining price stability and focused on ways to address structural challenges.

In her address, Turnava delved into the possibilities of successful monetary policy implementation and structural weaknesses. She underscored that the integrated use of central banks’ policy tools could effectively reduce costs related to inflation stabilization.

Within the Euromoney forum, the NBG Acting President met with international investors.

The two-day event brought together representatives from financial markets, investors, central bank leaders, and politicians from over 45 countries.
