Natural disaster hit Kakheti region

Rivers overflowed its riverbanks due to heavy rain in Kakheti region. The natural disaster damaged several villages in Sighnaghi municipality.

As Gogi Gogilashvili, the mayor of Sighnaghi Municipality told the first channel, the internal roads were damaged as a result of flood.

“Now we are sending technical equipment to Anaga and Vakiri villages, several houses are flooded” – said Gogilashvili.
