NATO Special Rep for Caucasus, Central Asia to visit Georgia tomorrow

NATO Deputy Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and Security Policy and Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina will visit Georgia on October 19-20 “to identify ways to further enhance NATO’s engagement in the Caucasus.”

As part of the visit, Javier Colomina will hold meetings with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani, Parliament Speaker Kakha Kuchava, Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze and members of the civil society, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.

Looking forward to my first trip to the #Caucasus next week. I will be visiting #Azerbaijan ??, #Georgia ??, and #Armenia ?? in my new capacity as #NATO Special Rep for the Caucasus and Central Asia in order to identify ways to further enhance NATO’s engagement in the Caucasus.
