National Tourism Administration participates in Tourism EXPO Japan

Georgian National Tourism Administration participated in Tourism EXPO Japan in Tokyo.

As part of the exhibition, Maia Omiadze, Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, held working meetings with senior officials from the Japan Tourism Agency, as well as with PR and marketing agencies, leading air companies and tour operators.

Maia Omiadze focused on raising Georgia’s awareness in the Japanese market, prospects to increase direct flights and planning marketing campaigns.

Representatives of Japanese media and the tourism industry were familiarized with Georgia’s tourist destinations, sightseeing sites and tourist products.

More than 80 countries and regions were represented at Tourism EXPO Japan. Over 1,300 tourism entities, airlines, and organizations participated in the exhibition, and the number of visitors reached approximately 180,000.
