National Food Agency suspends operations at Tampa confectionery facility over severe hygiene violations
Inspectors from the National Food Agency’s Tbilisi Department have suspended operations at the confectionery company Tampa LLC (located at No. 12 Ksani Street) following an unannounced inspection.
During the visit, officials uncovered critical non-compliances, severe breaches of hygiene standards, and failing facility infrastructure. Additionally, the business operator was found to be operating without mandatory registration in the Registry of Economic Activities.
As a result of these violations, the facility was fined and ordered to cease all manufacturing operations until the deficiencies are fully rectified and proper legal registration is completed.
In its official announcement, the National Food Agency reminded all business operators of their legal duty to adhere strictly to food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
