National Bank of Georgia adds international corporate bond report to interactive statistics platform

“Data on corporate bonds issued on international markets has been added to the National Bank of Georgia’s interactive statistics platform. The dataset is hosted under the Securities Market category and encompasses information regarding corporate bonds issued on international markets by Georgian companies (including state-owned enterprises) and their parent entities,” reads a statement released by the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).

According to the National Bank, the platform enables users to process and analyse data across various dimensions, including currency, maturity, economic sector, and other key parameters.

“The data will be updated monthly and made available in both Georgian and English. This information will provide significant assistance to capital market participants, including issuers, brokerage firms, and investors, as well as analysts, students, researchers, and other interested parties in studying and evaluating the Georgian securities market.

Currently, the interactive statistics module covers the following segments of the bond market: corporate bonds issued via public offerings on the Georgian bond market; bonds issued by International Financial Institutions (IFIs) via private and public offerings on the Georgian bond market; and corporate bonds issued on international markets by Georgian companies and their parent companies. Looking ahead, the National Bank of Georgia plans to expand the scope of securities market statistics available on the interactive platform,” the statement reads.
