National Archives publishes part of a photo collection by photographer Shalva Gokadze on its website

One part of a photo collection by the prominent photographer and photo reporter Shalva Gokadze has been posted on the website of the National Archives of the Justice Ministry of Georgia.

Shalva Gokadze was a prominent Georgian photojournalist and press photographer active from the 1950s onward, widely known for his extensive work documenting Tbilisi’s architecture, social life, cultural figures, and major theatrical, ballet and musical performances.

“From over 1,000 photographs included in the collection, around 70 images were selected for the online collection,” the Ministry of Justice said.
