The National Archive has opened an exhibition of the Georgian altarpieces from the 20th century.
“At the exhibition pavilion, the visitors will get acquainted with the art of church painting by self-taught and professional, Georgian and foreign artists (Dimitri Shevardnadze, Henryk Hryniewski, Valerian Sidamon-Eristavi, etc.) who worked in Georgia at the beginning of the 20th century,” reads the statement of National Archive.
The display will be up until May 5th.
