National anthem sung by Georgian team and Martve ensemble at Liberty Square

At Liberty Square, during the welcoming ceremony for the national football team, the Georgian national anthem was performed. The anthem was sung by members of the national team and the Martve ensemble.

Nika Kvekveskiri, one of the national team members, addressed the crowd: “Before the game, we perform the Georgian national anthem with folded hands. This is how we share with each other the energy that we then use to serve Georgia and give our best on the field to make you happy. We ask everyone to join hands and sing the national anthem of Georgia together with our boys.”
