Municipality representatives meet locals over Didi Lilo waste polygon concerns

Tbilisi Municipality representatives met with the Didi Lilo local residents over the waste polygon concerns.

Tbilisi City Hall and City Council representatives listened to the problems of the locals and discussed ways to solve them, promising to update the residents on further plans.

Tbilisi municipality, with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), has moved into an active phase to arrange a gas collection system at the Didi Lilo landfill, which will help the capital in meeting its environmental obligations under the EU Association Agreement signed in 2014.
