MTA Head: Georgia secured another major victory

Georgia’s ski resort of Bakuriani hosted the final stage of the Snowboard Cross World Cup, with 60 athletes from 12 countries participating in the championship.

The head of Georgia’s Mountain Trails Agency (MTA), Irakli Burchuladze, said “Georgia secured another major victory. International events provide opportunities for our country to gain visibility on the global scene.”

Burchuladze added that “the world cups scheduled in the mountain resorts of Georgia will be held at the top level.”

The event was supported by the Government of Georgia, the Mountain Trails Agency (MTA) and the Ski Federation.
