MP Matikashvili: We provided appropriate and well-reasoned responses to Luxembourg Parliament leadership

“The meeting with senior officials of the Luxembourg Parliament was held in a businesslike manner,” Davit Matikashvili, Chair of the Georgian Parliament’s Procedural Issues Committee, said.

According to Matikashvili, the meeting included questions about developments in Georgia and challenges arising against the backdrop of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

“They heard adequate and well-argued answers from us. At the meeting, we emphasized the importance of dialogue, which can further demonstrate Georgia’s correct position in a situation where, amid what we see as double standards, there are constant attempts by European bureaucracy to exert pressure on Georgia and the Georgian authorities,” Matikashvili said.
