MP Macharashvili: Let’s give Saakashvili ‘designated area’ to pretend he is Pharaoh, Patriarch, President and PM; in fact, he already has one
“Mikheil Saakashvili suffers from delusions of grandeur, though everyone currently insulting him used to glorify him; perhaps his resentment is understandable, given that everyone he elevated has now turned against him; that is the reality awaiting any agency network you create,” stated MP Guram Macharashvili, leader of the People’s Power party.
According to Macharashvili, Saakashvili constantly compares himself to the likes of Mandela, David the Builder, Ilia Chavchavadze, and various emperors: “Saakashvili is like a Pharaoh, combining both religious and state authority. This is all the more plausible now that he has created a clone of himself, who is currently roaming the streets of Georgia.”
“For some reason, the EU Ambassador avoids answering questions. Let him come out and explain to the public: is this the comical figure he was telling us would save Georgia and whom we should elect? Paweł Herczyński spoke to us on behalf of the European Union and sent 27 ambassadors to the Minister of Justice. Even members of Saakashvili’s own party have turned against him and are mocking him.
When the original Saakashvili goes to sleep, and his avatar wakes up, I would like to hear Herczyński’s answer: who should the United National Movement voter believe, the original Saakashvili or the avatar? This is the unfortunate reality.
We should allocate a plot of land and stage some play for Mikheil Saakashvili, where he can pretend to be a Pharaoh, Patriarch, President, Prime Minister, Chief, Nelson Mandela, whoever on earth he wants to be. Let’s grant him this status and allocate him a bit of space somewhere. In fact, he already has his own designated area, so now let’s allocate some space for his avatar, where Saakashvili can be whatever he fancies.
He pulls examples from plays one minute and history books the next, so how can anyone take him seriously? Both at home and abroad, we were told he was the great leader who built a pro-Western party. How can anyone take this UNM agent network and its Chief seriously? They have practically built a mausoleum for this man; it is like they are holding a seance to summon his spirit. What more could a Pharaoh want, who sees himself as both a religious and political leader?” Macharashvili said.
