MP Kirtzkhalia: We are seeking the Gakharia party ban, but not suspension of their mandates 

“Gakharia’s party does not recognize the constitutional order. Unfortunately, they misled part of society and secured parliamentary mandates,” parliamentary majority leader Irakli Kirtzkhalia said.

According to Kirtzkhalia, members of Gakharia’s party are following what he described as an agenda of refusing to recognize the constitutional order.

“Then we saw how the collective UNM responded to the will of the people, and we recognized their mandates. In doing so, we once again respected the voters who had supported them. This was a clear indication of what they would do in Parliament.

We see what they do in Parliament, how they behave and what agenda they follow. They follow what is called a policy of refusing to recognize the constitutional order. Each of the agents follows this agenda, while these people do so from within this building.

We are seeking the party’s ban, but we are not seeking the suspension of their mandates. This is being done so that society can see what the face of the agents is,” Kirtzkhalia said.
