MP Kadagishvili: Our objective is to elevate Georgia–US relations to new level, with national interests serving as cornerstone

The opposition’s goal is to hinder the development of Georgia–US relations, said Irakli Kadagishvili, Chairman of the Parliamentary Self-Government Committee.

According to Kadagishvili, the opposition is making every effort to damage Georgia’s image and slow its progress both domestically and internationally.

“We approach this pragmatically, as our political goal has been clearly stated at the highest level. We see positive steps being taken in relations between the two countries, and we will continue to follow this process,” he said.

“Our objective is to elevate Georgia–US relations to a new level, with national interests serving as the cornerstone of this path,” Kadagishvili added.
