MP Irakli Cheishvili: Joe Wilson accuses us of ‘Chinification’ one day, the next of ‘Russification’; he is paid to behave like this

“Joe Wilson’s statements are anti-Georgian. The bills he drafts serve only to ruin relations between Georgia and America. This man comes up with new ideas every week: one day he accuses us of ‘Chinification’, the next of ‘Russification’,” declared parliamentary majority member, MP Irakli Cheishvili.

According to Cheishvili, Joe Wilson harbours no love for Georgia and is attempting to escalate tensions.

“This man is doing everything in his power to strain relations between Georgia and America, so what sort of reset can we talk about? Joe Wilson does not want a reset, and neither he nor his paymasters take any joy in it. The goal of the Deep State is to keep Georgia as belittled as possible before the American leadership so that relations cannot be reset. If he introduces a new bill, its sole purpose will be to show his paymasters how unfit Georgia supposedly is for a partnership with America. This man is paid money, which is precisely why he is so active. Joe Wilson is paid specific sums to introduce specific acts, and that is why he is so agitated,” Cheishvili noted.
