MP Guram Macharashvili: Reset process between Georgia and America has begun and will continue

“The momentum towards resetting relations with America has begun, and hopefully it will continue in this vein,” stated MP Guram Macharashvili, leader of the People’s Power party.

According to Macharashvili, the current US administration has not made an unfair statement about Georgia for at least a year now.

“The exchange of delegation visits between Georgia and America is clear proof that the reset process in Georgian-American relations has commenced. We will always partner with anyone who respects Georgia’s sovereignty. That was the case in the past as well, including with America. Unfortunately, the Biden administration spoiled all of that. Hopefully, the process that has begun, what we call the Georgian-American partnership, will continue,” Macharashvili stated.
