The Executive Secretary of People’s Power, MP Guram Macharashvili, has declared that Georgia must not succumb to the threats of the Euro-bureaucracy.

As Macharashvili noted, Georgia fulfilled specific criteria and received its visa-free travel regime as a direct result.

“For instance, if Georgia needs to join the European Union, it is apparently expected to legalise same-sex marriage, impose sanctions on Russia, and hand over at least 80 per cent of its sovereignty to Brussels. If you surrender your sovereignty to Brussels, a war starts, your country collapses around you, and men are marrying men, then who on earth is going to need a visa to the EU anyway? None of what I am saying is made up; these are explicitly listed as demands in European Parliament resolutions.

I hope some people will have the sense not to scrap the visa-free regime entirely. After all, we were not granted visa-free travel on the condition that we start a war here or allow the spread of LGBT propaganda. We respected and fulfilled specific conditions, and that is why we received visa-free travel,” Guram Macharashvili stated.
