MP Guram Macharashvili: Foreign agent’s fate is to serve every interest except their own homeland

“The problem with those who lack a homeland is that they submit entirely to the Deep State,” stated People’s Power leader Guram Macharashvili.

According to MP Macharashvili, it is the fate of a foreign agent to champion the interests of everyone except those of their own country.

“After the 2008 war, did the UNM government not hand over strategic assets to Russia, while Saakashvili greeted Russian tourists at the Larsi border with flowers and a glass of wine in hand, personally arranging their hotel stays? Meanwhile, Khoshtaria, Japaridze, and other UNM cronies were inviting them to come over from Russia, invest in the country, and do whatever they pleased. This was happening after the 2008 war; supposedly, ‘money had no smell’, as their Minister of Internal Affairs famously put it. Yet when Russia invaded Ukraine, Russia suddenly became evil; beforehand, it was apparently fine. So, by these people’s logic, so what if Russia bombed Georgia, so what if it occupied part of our country; the main thing was that Russia was on good terms with Ukraine back then. Their complete lack of allegiance to a homeland is on display here in the most literal sense.

What changed in Russia in 2022? Nothing. The same occupier it was to Georgia, it became to Ukraine. When these people renounced Georgian citizenship to take Ukrainian citizenship, all that mattered to them was Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. That is why I say that foreign nations come first for them, while Georgia is secondary. They openly admit and confess to all of this. Why was there supposedly no such anti-Russian stance between 2008 and 2022? Supposedly because Ukraine wasn’t suffering back then and was doing fine. They care nothing for Georgia; this is the mindset of the rootless. The core problem is that these people are completely subservient to the Deep State. They will do whatever they are instructed to do. If ordered to, tomorrow they would march against Ukraine.
