MP Botchorishvili: Opposition parties struggle to overcome electoral barrier

Maka Botchorishvili, the chair of the European Integration Committee, stated that the opposition political parties are strategizing to overcome the electoral barrier.

“They are struggling with how they can cross the barrier and with what configuration they can achieve this. This is their decision,” Botchorishvili stated.

She also criticized the president’s actions, claiming they are unconstitutional.

“The president’s role is not to form alliances with political parties. However, we see that she is trying to play a role in the pre-election process, which is not her responsibility,” Botchorishvili added.
