MP Archil Gorduladze: We remain fully committed to genuine partnership with the US

“There is a clear alignment on all issues between our team and the current US administration. We have always been ready, and will remain ready in the future, to establish a genuine partnership; one that in the past existed purely on paper,” declared MP Archil Gorduladze, a member of the parliamentary majority.

He added that Donald Trump’s letter to Irakli Kobakhidze fills the Georgian Dream party with optimism regarding the future of bilateral ties.

“We have seen the letter from the American President. Naturally, it inspires us with cautious optimism. In this context, it is paramount that our country’s national interests are continuously protected. At the same time, we understand that every nation has its own interests, and it is through the alignment of these interests that a true partnership can ultimately be secured; something the Georgian government has always expressed its readiness to achieve,” Archil Gorduladze stated.

For context, US President Donald Trump sent a letter to the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, thanking him for his congratulations on the 250th anniversary of American Independence. In the letter, President Trump noted: “By working together to support sovereignty, security, and long-term prosperity, we can achieve significant progress. I look forward to strengthening our cooperation as we advance together toward a more secure, prosperous, and peaceful future.”
