Movement People's Power consults on enlargement

Five additional MPs have joined the political movement People’s Power, which is holding enlargement discussions at the Tbilisi Marriott hotel.

People’s Power presently has nine members, according to Sozar Subari, a movement member. “This suggests that the Georgian Dream faction has lost its parliamentary majority, but we have decided to remain majority members,” he stated.

According to Guram Macharashvili, a member of the movement, People’s Power is committed to revealing the truth, safeguarding national unity, and ensuring Georgia’s long-term prosperity. Society must be kept up-to-date on current political developments.

Sozar Subari noted that Georgia is a sovereign country that should make its own decisions. “To classify somebody as anti-western is to operate against the country’s interests,” he said.

People’s Power gained the support of MPs Eka Sepiashvili, Victor Japaridze, Davit Kacharava, Dachi Beraia, and Zaal Mikeladze.
