Movement for Social Democracy founded
The Movement for Social Democracy has been established on Monday.
The movement’s founders stressed the need “to open discussions about democracy, justice, and a better political and economic system.”
According to the members, the movement plans to achieve this through recruiting new members, strengthening protest momentum, and initiating new activities.
“The movement currently unites more than 100 people and is open to anyone who shares its values and principles.
It brings together citizens of various professions, experiences, and interests who believe that the only right path for Georgia’s survival and development is the path of social democracy,” reads their statement.
Today’s presentation was attended by Vakhushti Menabde, Levan Lortkipanidze, Tatia Dvali, Elene Pasuri, Giorgi (Gota) Chanturia, Giorgi Maisuradze, and others.
