UN: Over 1.5 mln Ukrainian refugees flee to neighbouring countries in 10 days

More than 1.5 million people have left Ukraine in the past 10 days, the Filippo Grandi, Commissioner of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees made this statement on Twitter.

“More than 1.5 million refugees from Ukraine have crossed into neighbouring countries in 10 days — the fastest growing refugee crisis in Europe since World War II”, Filippo Grandi tweeted.

According to the Polish Border Service, after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, 922.4 thousand people moved to Poland from Ukraine.
