Moldovan FM urges Georgian gov't to 'take actions to safeguard' Saakashvili's health

Nicu Popescu, Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, on Wednesday, expressed “profound concern” for the health of the former Georgian President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili.

“It is unacceptable for any individual to endure political persecution. Urging Georgian authorities to take actions to safeguard his health and ensure justice prevails over political interests,” Popescu tweeted.
