MMA fighter Giorgi Kartvelishvili: Our initiative group is founding popular movement to defend Georgian values and traditions

“Our initiative group is launching a popular movement to safeguard Georgian values, culture and traditions. We are embarking on a fight against foreign-funded external interests and groups of individuals who, in blind obedience, push a perverted ideology,” declared MMA fighter Giorgi Kartvelishvili.

According to Kartvelishvili, every patriotic Georgian is invited to join their cause.

“Insulting the ancestors, culture and identity that the Georgian people hold dear, and then aggressively promoting these narratives to force our population to accept them as normal, aims solely to erode the national values that unite the Georgian nation. That is why, as of today, our initiative group is establishing a popular movement to protect Georgian values, ethics and traditions.

We are launching a struggle against foreign-funded external interests and those subservient groups promoting a perverted ideology. Every patriotic Georgian is welcome to join us in this process. Our movement will be highly active, substantial, and as constructive as possible.

However, if necessary to defend our culture and national identity, we will shrink from no danger. We stand ready to take full responsibility for our actions, even if it means going to prison,” Kartvelishvili said.
