Ministry of Economy says that setting of limitations for WizzAir is not on agenda

Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development says that setting of limitations for WizzAir activities are not planned, and the issue has never been on the agenda.

The Ministry responded to the information released by Hub Georgia non-governmental organization with alleged that the government intended to remove the air company from the Georgian market.

“We condemn distribution of such misinformation that aims at misleading the population, destabilization and harms not only interests of the company but also negatively portrays the business environment in Georgia,” reads the statement released by the Ministry.

Also, according to the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, the operation of WizzAir is supported by the government, the company is expanding and the development of its activities will continue in the future.
