Minister of Internal Affairs opens new base of Special Tasks Department in Kutaisi

Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Sulkhan Tamazashvili opened a new base of the Special Tasks Department of modern standards in Kutaisi, the Imereti region.

The Minister, alongside his deputies Roin Meskhi and Gaga Kirkitadze, inspected the new base’s infrastructure.

The base comprises working and residential buildings for up to 150 employees, dog voliers, a canteen and sports hall.

The Ministry said that the implementation of various infrastructure projects aimed at improving working and living conditions for Ministry of Internal Affairs personnel, as well as the upgrading of the vehicle fleet and equipment, continues actively.
