Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Geka Geladze met the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA), Pere Joan Pons Sampietro, who is paying an official visit to Georgia, accompanied by a delegation.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), during the meeting, the parties reviewed the measures taken by the Ministry to maintain public order and security in Georgia. The Minister familiarized the delegation with the priority areas of the MIA activities and ongoing reforms.

The Interior Minister and OSCE PA President discussed issues of cooperation between the Ministry and the OSCE. The Minister emphasized that relations with OSCE institutions are significant and a priority for Georgia and expressed his readiness to further intensify this cooperation in the future.
