Minister of Education departs for U.S. on working visit

Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs Givi Mikanadze departed for the U.S. on a working visit.

According to the Ministry, Givi Mikanadze will address the 2026 ECOSOC Youth Forum organized by the United Nations in New York.

During the visit, Givi Mikanadze will meet with leaders of education and science from European countries and heads of UN structural units.

The Minister will visit the Saint Hieromartyr Grigol Peradze Georgian Cultural Center of Pennsylvania. He will familiarize heads of acting Sunday Schools with ongoing reforms in the Georgian education system.

Givi Mikanadze will hold bilateral meetings at the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education.
