Minister of Economy to assume duties of Vice Prime Minister

Georgian Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili will assume the duties of Vice Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, Prime Minister of Georgia, announced during the government meeting.

According to the PM, the position will assist the Minister in being more successful in further developing the economic sector.

“I would like to announce our decision. Mariam Kvrivishvili will assume the duties of Deputy Prime Minister of Georgia; this will assist her in her future endeavors to further strengthen the economic sector. I congratulate Ms Mariam and wish her success,” he said.
